That's OK. With Republicans slashing science and NASA budgets left and right to partially pay for tax cuts, China will surpass us soon. Then you'll be shaking your fist at the news and yelling in an old man voice "Oh yeah? Well we went to the moon in the 1970s!"

It's a shame that some people are so small-minded that they take pleasure in the failure of a space mission because it is operated by the wrong country. Such primitive nationalism impoverishes us all.
