With sports betting becoming more and more legal in the United States, sports gambling is becoming more available and popular. But while gambling is easy, winning at isn't easy. Here are some hints and tips to help you on your way to the Digital Gambling Booth while enacting your own metaphorical football "movement".
  • Don't bet on the losing teams to win. It might seem surprising, but approximately 100% of people that bet on the losing team to win... lost their money. To who, we don't know. We suggest you look into it and talk to them, because they have an unbeaten gambling record!
  • The point spread is expected score difference between two teams, not something you use on toast or a fresh muffin.
  • Over/Under is a very tempting thing to bet on. This consists of the total number of points scored and whether it is above or below that threshold. Everyone who says there is fixed sports always references the over/under and late game scoring. Should you try? We recommend always going with one or the other. That way, given plenty of time, you'll likely hit a confident stride of 50/50. Who'd say no to winning half the time?!
  • What is a parley? We think it is a word in French that means speak.
  • Picking a team this early in the playoffs to win is difficult. We recommend waiting until roughly 15 seconds are left in the Super Bowl before placing that bet to ensure winning.
The world of gambling is alluring and exciting. Enjoying your new passion can be invigorating and help you expand your mind as you try to create plausible explanations as to why there is no rent money this month. And stay tuned for our upcoming piece on horse gambling, spoiler alert, don't bet on the dog.
