He is accused of funding gain of function research and destroying government records. Of course we can't say if he did, he was pardoned before it could be investigated.
Also of course, since he was pardoned, he can't be accused of those actions in a court.

It's a type of research typically used to study viruses and pathogens. There are 2 hospitals (Westmead and Concord hospitals) and one company (Baxter Pharmaceuticals) currently doing gain of function in Sydney right now. It is very typical internationally and not in any way illegal. but regulated It's a common launching point for tinfoil dipshits who like to promote the theory that everybody "knows" COVID was grown in a lab to mention "gain of function" as some magical phrase. Think "Hunter Biden's laptop", and you're not far off.
Bring on the investigation. It's been 6 fucking years, why the wait? I'm just going to say if Fauci knowingly and willingly destroyed records there should be consequences. Even if he is pardoned his reputation should be eviscerated at the very least.
But I bet everything I own, everything I've ever owned and everything I will own that this turns out to be bullshit.

"Bring on the investigation" is exactly what Sen. Paul was doing. I guess that means you support Sen. Paul's actions? Who am I kidding, of course you don't, even though he's doing exactly what you just called for.
As for Fauci's reputation, it is already pretty eviscerated.

I know you have it in you to accomplish this. Run it how you like boss. Personally, I'm confused as fuck why all the people who are clamouring for Fauci's head (Rand Paul, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson etc) aren't asking for this, but you are smarter than them and clearly smarter than me. That's why I'm making it a direct order for you to start the investigation.
Like I said, Fauci hasn't destroyed any records. And he didn't say anything different than every other virologist in the world was saying at the time. The only difference is leaders in the developed Western world listened and heeded the advice from their medical experts. In the country where the leader was suggesting to its citizens to inject bleach, hospitals had to undergo triage practices and ad hoc morgues had to be established.

We'll never actually know that he hasn't, because he was pre-emptively pardoned and only Sen. Paul is attempting the investigation you are calling for. Isn't it interesting that you and Sen. Paul are accidentally on the same side, for exactly the opposite reason?
