How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Ironically, that the idea of "special military operation" instead a war was not just propaganda - it was what the Russians were led by their intelligence services to expect to happen - a quick shock-and awe campaign, real fighting over in a few days, complete control of the country in two weeks and the troops home after six months.
Lie again.

Denial is strong in this one.

So what is Trump's game? With diesel fuel, with the throttling of Starshield? This seems like an attempt in vain to do something, anything to improve Republican chances at the polls and nothing more. It only harms the innocent and it's offensive. That he would allow such a thing to happen. To slack Russia's leash and allow it to attack women and children. This is all on him. Trump has this blood on his hands. Russia is going to do what Russia does, what Russia has always done, act viciously towards its neighbor. We cannot expect decency from them. But Trump' actions here to attempt to blame Zelensky for high gas prices when even the nation's most ill-informed know this is largely a result of Trump's actions against Iran is futile on its face and repugnant in its execution.
And Zelensky quickly and rightfully said strikes on refineries are very much back on. And France and GB reaffirms its commitment to Ukraine. These were not quotes from anonymous sources, these were public statements by their government. See Trump, this is how you squander US geopolitical capital. Your faithful will never understand and Democrats will spend years trying to clean up your mess.

Yes, I strongly deny utter lies and garbage you post here.

So the war’s over and you won? You’ve taken Kiev?

Right.

Your military sucks. NATO would utterly destroy any invading force. And that’s even without the U.S. involvement.

I've got a better question. What guarantees are there that Russia will adhere to the cease fire conditions this time? Creating a cease fire just so we can do all this again in five years isn't a cease fire - it's a shitty pause. And all indications show any cease fire that Putin is willing to agree to now makes war a certainty in the not too distant future.
The only guarantee would be defensible borders Right now that's not the case: the Russian bridgehead in Kherson would threaten Odessa as well as give Russia ability to hit Ukraine's supply lines to Zaporizhzhia.

But let's say Ukraine takes Kherson. I think that might work out. But Ukraine isn't going to surrender the remaining areas without trying to liberate them. That would be a political impossibility and any leader in Ukraine who tries it would be branded a traitor. Meanwhile in Russia, Putin still probably harbors illusions about complete control of Ukraine or at least land connection to Transnistria. So unfortunately even though I think that the eventual border will be roughly the current frontline, it will take a long time before that's going to be accepted by both sides.
Amazing how two sides have completely opposite perspectives on this war.
You still think that Ukraine is winning or can win. Your propaganda must be very strong.
Ukraine can't take anything. All their (multiple) attempts at taking anything were bloody (literally) failures.
Meanwhile, latest estimates of ukrainian losses surfaces and they are horrendous.
They use open sources from Ukraine to do the estimation. And the number is 400K, including 50K mercenaries. They are thinking about mobilizing 60 year olds.
These ukrainian imbeciles die for nothing.
So even 4 years later, you’re saying the same bullshit. Rehashing the same shit. It’s now been almost 5 years of war and you haven’t accomplished shit. Your military should have ran all over them after a few weeks. Instead you got clobbered outside Kiev, driven back out of the other areas you captured and have barely stopped them after that. And you’ve captured squat since then.

Now you simplistically say Zelensky’s days are numbered. Keep it up another 4 years. I’ll repost it again then.

This guy's been a stooge for Russia for years.

This little ungrateful pos must never receive another penny of U.S. taxpayer support. How dare he physically disparage the
@POTUS
with his little smirk and lousy attitude.

The American people are not about one man, we are about a cause for and to secure freedom. And we will!

Zelensky apparently doesn’t get that. He acts as though he is deserving of the United States people’s support.

Enough is enough. We have far more drama to deal with right here at home than to continue to support this little weasel.

To the people of Ukraine; you must make a decision about your future. The majority of Americans are tired of supporting your “leader.” He is anything but!

God Bless America 🙏🏼🇺🇸
