Yeah right, the last thing we need is a bunch of old duffers that have lost their minds and one foot in the grave voting in crap we have to live with after they’ve shuffled off the earth.

Why did you vote for an old duffer who had lost his mind and has one foot in the grave, @TSwizzle ?
We will have to live with destruction he has wrought, to our standing in the world and to our ability to remediate it, and you voted for it.
Were you asleep at the wheel? Blinded by insufferable pricks? A weak moment?
What made you vote for the last thing we needed, knowing it was the last thing we needed?
If I live to be a hundred I will never understand that level of clueless.

It's not cluelessness. It's revenge on "woke". I have a brother who is exactly the same way. They are simply pissed off that the world does not treat them (white guys) as they were treated before the 1980s.

If that was in response to my post about trying to get the folks where I volunteer to vote, fyi, the ones who I'd like to see vote aren't senile. One is only 70 and he's very sharp, but sadly, he's almost totally blind. The other one is in her early 80s and has no symptoms of senility, unlike the senile narcissist you voted for.

Besides that, I had some patients who did have dementia when I worked in an ALF and they were Republicans. Family members took them to vote. Plus some who didn't have dementia were in their 90s and they voted. They were also Republicans. To my knowledge, only one Democrat who was in his 80s voted. He was a great guy and very sharp, but sadly his wife had dementia. She didn't vote. The younger ones who were in their 50s didn't bother to vote.

There is no law against people who are old or even have symptoms of dementia voting, so stop saying ageist things about people. One day, assuming you're fortunate enough to make it to my current age, you'll be old too and you'll have a better. understanding of ageism.
