I usually do all the cooking in the house but the wife wanted to try making a homemade chicken pot pie.



I must say, it was pretty damned good.

Pan fried ribeye steak (medium rare and well seared/caramelised on the outside and perfectly pink in the middle) with par cooked potatoes, carrots and corn that were then sauteed in the butter left over from sautéing the mushrooms in butter!

I would pay $40 for such a dinner!
